high-flying life on the slopes of Utah

Bounce ambassador Harrison Tullberg is preparing for the highest level in aerial skiing with intensive training on the ski slopes in Utah, while studying online for his Deakin University law degree.

Harrison, 20, has finished three trimesters of Deakin’s law course and he is enjoying the challenge of intellectual rigor while training as an aerial skier.

The Victorian Institute of Sport aerial skier maintains a very disciplined routine, which involves up to seven hours of training a day, although he has recovery days, and often studies in the evenings. Harrison has been studying in a local library near Moose Hollow condo in Eden, Utah on his recovery days. He has finished exams at Weber State University in Utah, which is about half an hour from his condo.

Harrison, who represented Australia in trampolining at the 2014 Indo-Pacific Championships in South Africa, is preparing for World Cup level and his ultimate goal is to become a Winter Olympian. Harrison and Lachlan Fitzgerald are full VIS scholarship holders, and they join Olympic silver medallist David Morris in their quest for excellence in aerial skiing.
